We’re a different breed, and we need specific, specialized mental health care—

You do a job most people can't truly understand — and that includes many therapists.

As someone who has served as a first responder for over a decade and is now a therapist, I get it. You’re expected to show up strong, stay calm under pressure, and carry on — no matter what you’ve seen or felt and the culture of your organization. But the weight of that can build quietly over time.

In our work together, you don’t have to explain every detail or relive every scene. You’ll be met with respect, understanding, and tools that actually work. We’ll create a treatment plan that’s tailored to you — no cookie-cutter solutions here. Depending on your needs, this might include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a proven method for helping the brain and body process trauma, shift out of high-alert states, and build resilience.

EMDR is especially effective for first responders because it’s clear, goal-oriented, and doesn’t require you to spill every detail. We’ll work at your pace, focused on helping your nervous system let go of what’s no longer serving you, so you can keep doing your job (and living your life) without burning out.

You’re not alone — and you don’t have to white-knuckle it anymore.
